Planetbeing has announced that he now has unsigned jailbreak code running on the iPhone 4S.

Finally got unsigned code running on my 4S with the stuff that will go into the new jailbreak!

A couple days ago he announced that with saurik's help the 'Dream Team' had escaped Apple's sandbox.

For those wondering when the jailbreak will be released, planetbeing notes that there is still a lot of work that needs to be done...

I was working on it every second I was awake yesterday. There's a lot of work that needs to be done. No one said it'd be quick.

Wait did planetbeing say "nobody said it will be fast..." correct me if I'm wrong about 10days ago didn't pod2gay say "update your iPhone 4s people it will be all over in a week"

ME! It is nice to see all you people complain about not having a phone that can be jailbroken. DON"T BUY THE THING IF YOU NEED IT THAT MUCH TO BE JAILBROKEN. You know it is not possible at this time. So enjoy your phone the normal way and let them do there work/hobby for us for free. I also have an iPhone 4s and i would like it to be jailbroken, but let's face it.... it is not the most important thing in the world. JUST WAIT!! I for one would like to thank them in advance if they succeed. If not.... no worries!!!!

I totally agree. Every time I see that icon and then some bullshit twitter post "update" next to it I get frustrated. Just post once it's released.

Hey Ben! I'll speak for myself and not JimJones but I can wait forever if its necesary I just find it anoying this type of news. Its actually no news at all. Its already known they're out of the SandBox and that pod2g exploit works on 4S so why keep making ppl angry posting this stuff that is no better news than when they said they were able to get out of the sandbox. What makes most ppl angry is the way iclarified plays with their need and desire of being jailbroken... I find it nice of planetbeing to post this sort of comments on his twitter. it keeps us all informed on how is everything going but this is in no way the type of news that should get a PWNED RED LOGO in front of it. They could have announce the progress without making a big announcement out of it... Making everyone think the Jailbreak is out.

Ok. Pete. I understand your point of view to some point. But how is it that you know that they are out of the sandbox en that pod2g exploit works on 4s?? Right, most of us get it from these updates they put up here!!!! So they are useful for us. But you are right that it is no APPLE news like we like to read here. But still, a lot of people with 4s are interested in the progression they make. And yes, they don't need to make it into a BIG announcement (I don't see that here though) but I like to read about it, to know that they are still working on it and not gave up. But again, I understand your opinion and it is more the language that this JimJones uses that make me think he is just a little boy wanting to play with toys he don't understand.

@Ben.....dude, Im not even referring to the jail breakers out there working on it. Im talking about iClarified and these nonsensical news posts. I think by now everyone knows where to go in order to get updates for this jailbreak. Whether it be pod2gs blog or twitter, Muscnerds twitter, devteam, planetbeing, etc., everyone knows where to go for updates, and I would assume appreciate the fact that this could ever be doe in the first place thanks to those guys. However, iClarified is just duplicating the same old news and then have the nerve to put a PWNAGE icon next to the headline as if something has been released.
