A new report from iMore is again saying that the next generation iPad will support 4G LTE connectivity.
The same source that originally told iMore Apple would be holding their iPad 3 event on March 7 has now let us know that the announcement will include 4G LTE networking. We'd heard previously that 4G LTE would be coming to iOS in 2012, but not whether it would make the cut for iPad 3, or whether Apple would save it for iPhone 5 in October.

True, its NOT the 5th model. However Apple is probably going to call it iPhone 5. It is very unlikely that it will be iPhone 6 and skip 5 all together (despite 4S being the real 5G, its not called that way). Apple has already done it before, iPod touch 4G is actually the 3rd model, however 4G was the right name coming alongside iPhone 4...

iPod touch 4G its in fact the fourth generation ipod touch, I've own every touch generation as they came out.
1st Touch screen had rough edges around and the antenna was semisquare on one side
2nd Gen smother edges around screen, oval shaped antenna cover.
3rd Gen same look as the 2nd Gen with better processor and gpu also the only touch generation without an 8gb model.
4th Gen available in two colors black and white, retina display, rear and front facing camera.

I think you need to figure out what "confirm" means. This "report" does not confirm anything other than a rumor, which means it's as worthless as any other story or report unless the info comes directly from Apple.

It's like saying the Tooth Fairy will confirm that Santa Claus exists.
