Here's a look at the new lock screen Camera launch in iOS 5.1.

In iOS 5.0.1 you needed to double tap the home button to bring up the camera button which would launch the app. Now, as rumored, there is a Camera icon sitting at the bottom right of your lockscreen at all times. Swiping this icon up will reveal the Camera app.

I agree. I think a camera App that costs money is a waste of money. I have a free one the has an excellent built in timer so that I can be in group shots, and that's it. I'm not sure how I need about swiping up for the camera from the lock screen. I hope it never happens accidentally. www.a5six.com The Best iPhone Tutorials on the Web

this quick access to camera app gives the iphone 3GS vulnerability.. when using the camera shortcut on the lock screen, then you press the home button, you'll directly get inside the homescreen even if you have a passcode installed. just some glitch i found...

Toooooo slow, I use spy photo with jailbroken iPhone. It's way much faster.

I pick my apps carefully, There are a lot of other apps that do this same thing maybe for a little more or less and some do more then just put a icon also why buy when it'll be free when they give a new jailbreak LOL
