Microsoft revealed that it will distribute a 'Release Preview' of Windows 8 in June at the Windows 8 Dev Days in Japan.
In February, the company released a 'Consumer Preview' which has been very popular. You can find instructions showing how to install the preview on your Mac here.
The official release is anticipated in September or October.

Who would want Windows 8? It's useless, and underneath it is still windows 7, what was Vista what was XP what was 2k what was 98 what was where they started Win95.... Windows sucks....

Actually, as of Windows 7, Microsoft dumped all of the legacy code that weighed down Vista, XP, and the rest.
