TUAW has confirmed that the v1.1.2 Jailbreak does indeed work.
The site tested a pre release procedure for jailbreaking the iPhone. This procedure will gain a nice user interface and be tested before release; however, its good to know that v1.1.2 won't keep your phone locked for long.
