Fastmac Intros U-Connect for iPod shuffle

Fastmac has introduced "U-Connect," a universal Dock Connector adapter designed for Apple’s second-generation iPod shuffle. The device costs $15.95.

The U-Connect lets the iPod shuffle use the myriad accessories made for Dock Connector-equipped iPods. The U-Connect features a headphone plug/connector on one end that plugs into the iPod shuffle; the other end terminates in a 30-pin Dock Connector.


This lets you use devices such as FM transmitters, speaker systems, vehicle chargers and other products designed to work with 30-pin Dock Connector-equipped iPods. A toggle switch on the back switches the U-Connect between charging mode and playback mode.
