The new facebook app won't even work on my hacked 32gb iPhone 3g OS. Anybody have any info this?

In my opinion, 3.1 release would be much more reliable.
Besides it will bring push notifications.

the new version crashes on the friends page. It does not list anything.

One more bug fixed was chat !! There was an alert with "chat message was not sent" or something. That's fixed !! I can chat now !!

The search bar is now finally functioning well. In 3.0 when you switch to landscape the search bar wouldn't expand.
But now it does.

My iPhone works fine with 3.0 but my sister's FB kept crashing on her friends list. It listed only two friends. After scrolling few blank slots below the list were all her friends. All appeared again but crashed while going through it all.

One of the bugs they fixed was the birthday notifications part.

The notification feature does not work.... it show that there is one, then when you tap, it tells you it is unable to pull up that info!!!
