Bloomberg is reporting that more studios have signed on to rent movies over Apple's iTunes Service.
Bloomberg has suggested that joining Warner Bros. and News Corp.'s Fox in supplying rental films are Viacom Inc.'s Paramount, Walt Disney Co. and Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. These studios already sell movies through iTunes for about $9.99 each.
Apple is expected to announced the iTunes Movie Rental service at the MacWorld Expo on January 15th. A price of $3.99 for a 24 hour rental is expected.
