iChat Cydia App Lets You Chat Over Bluetooth

iChat is a new application by Dewan Payroda that allows you to chat over bluetooth with friends.

You can download the application from the Big Boss Cydia repository for free. Please note it does not work on iPod Touch 1G.

Gives me an error on my iPhone 2G. Telling me Bluetooth is "Not Supported on this iPhone". I even have it enabled...not the best first impression.

Whats the point if you have to join ichat via bluetooth!!! You can directly talk to a person instead of chatting and typing!! Doesnt make sense!

What if you dont have service, or dont waste $20 a month on an overcharged text plan? Think, THEN post. Plus, its a great idea. Installing now.

Bluetooth range of approximately 10 meters actually, which is 32.8 feet. Also, enjoy T-Mobile. Ever hear of 3G? Guess not :P
