ממקורותיו של "דיג'יטיימס" נאמר כי חברת אומני-ויז'ן הזמינו את שבבי ה-5 מגה פיקסל לדור הבא של האייפון.
אומני-ויז'ן סיפקו את מצלמת ה-3.2 מגה פיקסל לאייפון ה-3GS וגם את ה-2 מגה פיקסל ל-3G.
החברה צפויה להזמין חיישן תמונה מסוג CMOS ואמורה להגדיל את כמות היחידות שלהם
בכ-40 עד 45 מיליון בשנת 2010 לעומת 20-21 מיליון יחידות בשנה שעברה.
