Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer introduced the HP Slate today in his CES keynote address.
The prototype device is said to be coming later this year, and it's running Windows -- Ballmer showed it running the PC Kindle app. It's also multitouch, and can do some gaming -- they showed it playing Frogger.

...and so the Apple tablet seems questionable.
At least this device runs W7 and can use the same applications I use on any normal Win Pc, on the other hand I just wait to wonder at how many restrictions will come with the so amazing Apple tablet.
