Interview With Creator of Apple Startup Sound [Video]

A video interview with Jim Reekes, the creator of the Apple Startup Chime and the "sosumi" chime has been posted by OneMoreThing.nl

From 90 til I left in 99, I pretty much wrote all of the audio software that was coming out of Apple. I was responsible for the sound manager and making it make sound. Like the ability for it to make sound. And then I completed rewrote it. Got a couple patents for those designs. Became a member of the QuickTime team and just sorta owned audio.

Hahha, hes talking about the sound becoming annoying every time it crashes...!?!?! apple computer don't crash! did anyone else catch that
