HP and Adobe Demo Flash on the HP Slate [Video]

HP has posted a couple videos that showcase Adobe Flash running on the upcoming HP Slate. The device is expected to be similar in size to the iPad, run Windows 7, and cost less.

With this slate product, you're getting a full Web browsing experience in the palm of your hand. No watered-down Internet, no sacrifices. We just posted a quick video showing some more of what that's like as well as how the slate device will work as an eBook reader. Enjoy the short clip (and the techno soundtrack).

A second video with Adobe's Alan Tam. He shows Adobe Air and Flash in action on the device: Video playback from MTV.com; A Spongebob Squarepants game (most casual games on the Web run in Flash); photo editing at Photshop.com and reading the digital version of the New York Times.

THIS TABLET ROCKS !!! .... Thi iPad is SHIT !! compared to this tablet, HP is soing a great job !!!

awwh man, it is just perfect, clearly better than apple's ipad. interface still seems like little bit laggy but they can figure it out, i think.

Did you see that keyboard, that wasted all the screen space, covered everything and had to be moved when the guy was doing the crossword?? That IS Windows unfortunatelly... I have had a windows tablet since early 2007, I got it because it seemed so great and functiona, which was not the casel... now even with windows 7, it still sucks... even though a little less than with the other versions
