The Commercial Times has reported that Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., the world's largest contract electronics maker by revenue, is competing to make Apple's new 3G iPhone.
If Hon Hai wins the order, it could ship an extra 10 million handsets a year, the Chinese-language paper said. It did not name the other companies interested in Apple's order.
