I think its the 8GB 3G iPod touch, which is not really 3G because it doesnt have as much power as the 32GB and the 64GB versions have... Some called it an iPod touch 2.5G

seriously?a friend of mine has one ipod touch 8gb (mc model) and he installed the ipod2,1 firmware on it
