Poor Economy? they just put back in $500 buying the thing in the first place, just to blow it up. That actully helps the economy.. lol. what happens to the product in the end doesnt matter. it would have grown old and then been tossed in a few years.
Hell, they probubly bought a few aswell. :)

Ya but look at the loss of income that could of been generated from purchasing all the gadgets for the ipad like screen protectors and cases etc. and let's not forget the thousands of dollars that could also be generates from software from the ipad AppStore or songs from iTunes or apple tv.
