SEGA has released Sonic the Hedgehog 2 for the iPhone and iPod touch.

Sonic, the world’s fastest hedgehog, is back! Introducing Miles “Tails” Prower, Sonic and Tails must stop Dr. Eggman’s diabolical scheme to take over the world. This time, Dr. Eggman is enslaving scores of Sonic’s friends in order to create an army of Badniks, which will build his ultimate weapon – the Death Egg, a planet-sized space station of unthinkable power.
