Will this work on the iPhone also? Or is there a app for the iPhone that will do the same thing? I can output video to the Tv but I would like to output the screen at anytime, just to play around with games. It may not look good but I would like to check it out.

yes, it is Display Out, the same app, but you have to jailbreak your phone. You can find the app in Cydia. I have it, and it does exactly what it is supposed to do. Resolution isn't amazing, but you can't expect HD.

I couldn't find it for the iPhone, and it wouldn't let me install the ipad version. I may not have the sources you have but I also did a google search and didn't see it.

I do apologize. Look up Landscape TV Out and another one I hadn't tried until tonight is Screensplitr. Landscape TV Out is the one I have been using, but for the 5 minutes or so I tried screensplitr tonight, it seemed to work well.

Free Cydia app "TVOut2" does the same thing for iPhone (and ipad in fact)
