US antitrust regulators are reportedly opening a new investigation into Apple after it revealed restrictions on ads from Google and Microsoft.
Apple updated its developer agreement to allow companies to collect data for ad serving if they obtain permission; however, large competitors such as Google and Microsoft who develop or distribute mobile devices or systems, are blocked.
According to FT sources, US regulators are deciding whether it will be Federal Trade Commission, which carried out the recent Google investigation, or the Department of Justice, which will begin the investigation.
