Apple has released the official full trailer for the fifth season of its hit alternate-history space drama "For All Mankind," expanding on the initial teaser shared earlier this year. The 10-episode season will make its global debut on Apple TV with one episode on Friday, March 27, followed by new episodes every Friday through May 29.
Season five picks up in the 2010s, years after the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has grown into a thriving colony with thousands of residents and now serves as a base for missions that will take humanity even further into the solar system. As the nations of Earth demand law and order on the Red Planet, friction builds between the people who live on Mars and their former home.
Returning cast members include Joel Kinnaman, Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña, and Wrenn Schmidt. New series regulars joining the drama include Mireille Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz, and Ines Asserson.
Created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi, the series continues to anchor the science fiction lineup for the recently rebranded Apple TV service. All four previous seasons are now streaming on Apple TV.
