Apple has unveiled the premiere date and a first look for the fifth season of its hit space drama "For All Mankind." The alternate-history series returns globally on Friday, March 27.
The 10-episode season will debut on Apple TV with the first episode, followed by one new installment every Friday through May 29. This launch is part of an aggressive release schedule for 2026, aligning with the company's stated goal to deliver new original content nearly every week throughout the year.
Season five picks up several years after the events of the Goldilocks asteroid heist. Happy Valley has evolved into a thriving colony housing thousands of residents and serving as a launchpad for missions deeper into the solar system. The plot centers on growing friction between the people living on Mars and the nations of Earth, who are demanding law and order on the Red Planet.
Joel Kinnaman returns to lead the ensemble cast, marking a busy spring for the actor on the platform as he is also set to star in the psychological thriller Imperfect Women. He is joined by returning cast members Toby Kebbell, Edi Gathegi, Cynthy Wu, Coral Peña, and Wrenn Schmidt. New series regulars joining the show include Mireille Enos, Costa Ronin, Sean Kaufman, Ruby Cruz, and Ines Asserson.
The series is produced by Sony Pictures Television and created by Ronald D. Moore, Matt Wolpert, and Ben Nedivi. Wolpert and Nedivi serve as showrunners and executive producers alongside Moore. All four previous seasons are currently available to stream.
