Apple has seeded the second developer beta of macOS Tahoe 26.6 for testing.
The latest update carries build number 25G5043d and arrives roughly three weeks after the initial beta rolled out to the developer channel. It also drops right alongside the second round of test builds for iOS 26.6 and iPadOS 26.6.
With Apple having recently previewed its next major desktop operating system, macOS 27 Golden Gate, active feature development on the Tahoe branch is largely complete. This late-stage software cycle is focused entirely on resolving lingering bugs, patching security vulnerabilities, and ensuring overall system stability ahead of the larger transition this fall. Apple has not highlighted any major new user-facing features for this specific build.
Registered developers can download the new beta by navigating to System Settings, clicking General, and selecting Software Update. The full restore image should also be available through the Apple Developer Center for those performing clean installations.
