Apple Shares Official 'Ted Lasso' Season 4 Trailer Ahead of August 5 Premiere [Video]

Apple has released the official trailer for the fourth season of "Ted Lasso," giving fans their clearest look yet at Ted's return to Richmond as he takes on a new challenge coaching a second-division women's football team. The 10-episode season premieres Wednesday, August 5, 2026 with its first episode, followed by new installments every Wednesday through October 7 on Apple TV.



Apple says Ted returns to Richmond to take on his biggest challenge yet: coaching a second-division women's football team. Along the way, Ted and the team "learn to leap before they look, taking chances they never thought they would."


Jason Sudeikis, Hannah Waddingham, Juno Temple, Brett Goldstein, Brendan Hunt and Jeremy Swift reprise their roles, joined by newcomers Tanya Reynolds, Jude Mack, Faye Marsay, Rex Hayes, Aisling Sharkey, Abbie Hern and Grant Feely. Jack Burditt joins as executive producer under his overall deal with Apple TV, while Goldstein also serves as writer and executive producer. Bill Lawrence executive produces through Doozer Productions, in association with Warner Bros. Television and Universal Television.

Ahead of the premiere, Brett Goldstein recently told The Hollywood Reporter the new season has "some of that season one magic." Apple first announced the August 5 premiere in April, more than three years after season three concluded.

"Ted Lasso" remains one of the most decorated comedies in Emmy history. Its first season became the most Emmy-nominated freshman comedy series in history, and it went on to win back-to-back Outstanding Comedy Series awards.

The first three seasons of "Ted Lasso" are streaming now on Apple TV.
