Good Progress on iPhone 4 Unlock [Update x2]

MuscleNerd and Planetbeing have made good progress on the iPhone 4 unlock, according to message tweeted by MuscleNerd early this morning.

Good progress on iPhone4 unlock with @planetbeing: http://is.gd/dh2WE - injected cmd! (Akin to http://is.gd/dh2Ze on 3G)

The screenshot below shows custom application execution similar to what was achieved 2 years ago on the iPhone 3G.

Stay tuned for additional updates on the unlock progress and the upcoming jailbreak for all iOS 4 devices.

What do you mean? I have 3gs, new bootrom, 3.1.3 and unlocked it.. After spirit install from cydia ultrasnow..

Just jailbreak with Spirit and unlock with ultrasn0w. You need an active AT&T sim card tho because Spirit doesn't hactivate.

Use ultrasn0w to unlock ur 3gs! Use spirit to jailbreak it!

there is already an unlock for the 3GS, ultrasn0w 0.93 has been updated to support the 4.0 baseband 5.13 all the way down to the 3.0 baseband 4.26. but you cant use it yet with the new bootrom 3GS' unless you tether jailbreak with sn0wbreeze, but that requires 3.1.2 shsh on file.

My only question is with the release of the new apple update around the corner is this going to mess everything up. Normally I don't update butb this is a very important update
