Apple has developed a fix for the daylight savings bug in iOS 4.1 and it will released in an upcoming software update.

The bug causes recurring alarms to go off an hour early, according to ZDNET.

The bug was first discovered on Sunday morning after daylight savings kicked in for New South Wales, Victoria, the Australian Capital Territory, South Australia and Tasmania. Unless otherwise configured, most iPhones automatically adjusted to daylight savings and moved an hour forward. However, due to a glitch in the iPhone's alarm clock application, any recurring alarms set to go off on multiple days, such as a weekday alarm, would go off an hour earlier than the time set.

"We're aware of this issue and already developed a fix which will be available to customers in an upcoming software update," Apple said.

So, they can fix some random, tiny daylight savings bug but not the proximity sensor bug that prevents the user from making PHONE CALLS??

Well... it can't be fully closed, they can only close Comex exploit that makes it untethered... but then again who want's a tethered jailbreak :/
