Agile Tortoise has announced version 1.3 of Terminology, one of the top reference apps in the iTunes App Store. Version 1.3 is a simultaneous release for both the iPad and iPhone/iPod touch versions of Terminology and is available immediately.
Since it's release August 30th, 2010, Terminology for the iPhone has followed the success of the iPad version, charting in the Top 10 in the reference category in 40 countries and in the Top 100 overall in over 65 countries. Terminology has been listed in "New & Noteworthy", "Staff Favorites" and "What's Hot" in App Stores around the globe and received rave reviews.
Terminology is a language browser for the iOS, combining dictionary and thesaurus features into a playground for those curious about words. It sets itself apart from other dictionary and thesaurus Apps in the iTunes App Store with its rich, readable interface and easy access to further research with the built-in browser.
The 1.3 update brings visual and performance enhancements to Terminology, along with our most requested feature: spelling suggestions. Other improvements include standard "swipe to delete" gestures for the starred words and recent history lists, the ability to clear all history and support for the "terminology://?q=[word]" protocol handler for integration with other iOS apps and the web.
Pricing and Availability: The iPhone version of Terminology is priced at $1.99 (USD) and the iPad version is available for $2.99. Press kit with screenshots and icon images available upon request.
