Apple and News Corp have sent out invitations to the press for the launch of 'The Daily', a news publications designed specifically for the iPad and other tablets, according to the Loop.
The event will take place at 11:00am EST on Wednesday, February 2nd. News Corp Chairman & CEO Rupert Murdoch will be joined by Apple's Vice-President of Internet Services, Eddy Cue to introduce the publication.
Steve Jobs was rumored to be present for the event; however, its likely that Cue is taking Jobs place due to the CEO's medical leave of absence.
