I tried upgrading my ipod touch 4g to 4.3.3(currently jail broken on 4.2.1) but getting the 3194 error in itunes, have I left it too late? I saw this guide like a week or so ago but kept putting off the upgrade.

I tried jailbrakme.com 3 days ago its said downgrade version to 4.0.1...i am using iPOD touch 4G with 4.3.3 (8j2) ... Looks like jailbreakme has been updated yesterday....am i correct? I will let you know if it works. Thanks for the post.

How to install cracked apps: Ensure you have upgraded to iOS 4.0 Firmware. Jailbreak your iPhone/iPod Touch using JailbreakMe (this will also install Cydia). 1. Open Cydia. 2. Press to select the Manage tab at the bottom of the screen. 3. Press to select the large Sources button. 4. Press the Edit button at the top right of the screen. 5. Enter the source URL: cydia.hackulo.us 6. Press the Add Source button. 7. Search for AppSync for OS 4.0 in Cydia and install. 8. Reboot your iPhone/iPod Touch. 9. Connect your iPhone/iPod Touch to iTunes. 10. Install one free app from the iTunes App Store. 11. Copy the Apps/Games (.ipa files) into your iTunes Library (just drag and drop to the iTunes window). 12. Sync with your iPhone/iPod Touch.
