Hey there, my jailbreak was succesful on my iphone 4, but when i try to install any ipa, i get error failed to install. Like i tried installing NOVA3 game and it said falied to install nova 3. what can be the issue as the jailbreak was successful and cydia is on my springboard. Anyone?

And then redsnow says unrecognized build.

I think you update your iphone 4 to the newly ios 5.1.1(9b208). You have to download the build 9b206 for your phone from this website and shift+ restore to build 9b206.

Ty, i wish that would have been more prominently displayed on sites, but BigBoss says that an update will probably be out soon, so hopefully that works. I actually just did the downgrade and then absinthe....super easy...

I was able to jailbreak successfully, but somehow my Photo Albums are messed up.
I want to unjailbreak and re-jailbreak it again.
How can I do that? I tried to erase all content and settings from reset, but it's just spinning and nothing happens. Eventually I have to reboot the iPhone to get it back to normal. How can I unjailbreak the iPhone?

It happens to me as well.
1. After jailbreaking, tried [Reset - Erase All Content and Settings] => hung (just the pearl rotating and never continues)
2. Adding whatever new cydia source (http://repo.bingner.com) also hungs

Didn't work for me on iPhone 4. Continuously crashes in Windows version after about a minute of installing the JB. Here's the error log:

Hey u should try doing the jailbreak on redsnow. Then after the jailbreak just go into cydia sections >systems> Rocky Racon to untether the jailbreak....

To fix the "lockdown error -5" error others are reporting to do the following:
go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Content and Settings. Then make sure you download Absinthe 2.0.1 and run it again.

If using Lion or a mac and you kept getting the same error Use windows, it happened to me like 20 times till I decided to use windows and everything worked perfect... now I have my iPad 3 Jailbroken.

Jailbroke fine and Cydia worked great but... I received a white phone icon similar to the previous white cydie icon. I also got a screen flicker in all four corners. Tried hard reset and also respring and same issue. Went back to factory 5.1.1 and flicker still exists, tried restore and same issue also tried to setup the phone as a new iPhone and flicker continued.

jailbreak works fine on 4s. it took two tries. but bigboss and zodtt sources are still problematic. so am unable to install cydia apps :(
tried deleting and re-adding zoddtt and it just sits there "downloading packages" .. zzzzzzz

For me new iPad worked on a PC but iPhone 3GS and iPhone 4 worked only on my Mac, it kept crashing all the time on a PC with windows Vista and Windows 7

WIth ultra snow your going to have to make sure you have a supported baseband. then install ultra snow fixer 5.1.1 then reinstall the original ultrasn0w, if u need step by step let me know I can help...

You have to do a full restore not just erase device in the setting menu that will not work hook it upto iTunes do a restore and very important when it reboots first time after restore do NOT setup!! Just plug into absinthe at that point and jailbreak away I have done 7 devices all different models of pads pods and phones all worked great!!!!!
