According to Reuters, Apple is looking at introducing a 4.7-inch and 5.7-inch iPhone next year. The site says Apple is also planning to release a cheaper iPhone in a range of colors.
Apple is looking at introducing at least two bigger iPhones next year - one with a 4.7-inch screen and one with a 5.7-inch screen - said the sources, including those in the supply chain in Asia. They said suppliers have been approached with plans for the larger screens, but noted it is still unclear whether Apple will actually launch its flagship product in the larger sizes.
"They constantly change product specifications almost to the final moment, so you're not really sure whether this is the final prototype," said one person with direct knowledge of the matter.
This year Apple is expected to launch two models, an iPhone 5S with fingerprint technology and a low cost iPhone that features a plastic casing and could come in 5-6 colors. The company has reportedly discussed a price of $99 for that device. Presumably, with a contract.
Reuters also notes that the timing of the low cost iPhone could slip to next year.
"They said that they didn't want to make the iphone 5 wider so we still feel comfortable using 1 hand. " - what we ? People with 1 hand and deep pockets ? No cupertino tells me how many hands to use for iphone ! Nobody ! My hands !
yes same as "round corners".
and let's not forget how many features symbian phones have. In ios7 cupertino copied one of them - call blocking but there are still many more to copy. Upcoming years will be very difficult for cupertino copycats.
Its quite hypocritical and shitty for that second car maker to want gps after talking shit about gps and the car maker that already has it. Its also quite petty and ludricrous to sue them for having a "round" cup holder because they hold
a ridiculous patent... apple also said that they would never make a smaller ipad and yet they still sell one.
these are marketing lies to fend off people from buying cheap nokia asha and larger android phones designed for regular size hands. There will be no cheap iphone ever because cupertino profit margin does not allow to sell cheap and regarding phones for larger hands cupertino has no technology, no patents to design larger phone. If you want smartphone actually usefull you should get android phone anyway
