WTFJeans has launched the third version of its jeans with a pocket for your iPhone, bringing new liquid repelling and anti-radiation features.
The jeans have been completely redesigned, inside and out. The wtfPocket is inside the jeans now for a better look, and it's lower on the thigh making it easier to get your iPhone in and out. The company abandoned the USB pocket feature because "we all use the cloud now", and added pockets for your hands.
WTFJeans says it also improved the little details like choosing an original design with orange thread and a wild stitching pattern for the internal parts of the jeans, matching orange print, using a different colored thread on the outside of the jeans, and even making a custom branded set of buttons, with a wide concave top button to make it even easier to grab and put your jeans on, and to take them off quickly.
The iPhone pocket still has a micro-fiber cloth to protect and clean your device and two new protection features have been added:
Anti-stain, Anti-liquid, Nanotechnology coating This amazing new feature allows you to accidentally spill your liquid of choice on yourself and not worry about the consequences -- it will just roll off! We have tested it with water, coca cola, coffee, wine, beer, whisky (see a trend here?) and even oil! It all just slides right off the nanotechnology protected fabric. How slick is that?
Anti-radiation No, you don't have to be Iron Man to appreciate the coolness of this feature. Your phone still operates at 100% efficiency, but the EMF radiation blasting from your phone flows around your body instead of through it. Now you can feel good about keeping your phone in your pants, and know your body is safe and sound.
The jeans are available for 127€ from the link below...
$175?? WTF?!?!
Also, the guy's jeans are too long, and why have him barefoot. Homage to Steve Jobs early days?
Good luck WTF Jeans. From my point of view, you're nuts.
$175 for a made in China jeans and I a few weeks after it shrunk half of its size and the stitches starts to shred you will be yelling WTFShittyJeans!!
The reason, or idea as to why seems ludicrous to me, but I like how they look. I'd try a pair and even buy them if they were local. Over the internet? Not geeky enough I guess.
