Check out this video walkthrough of the latest beta of iMods, an upcoming alternative to Cydia Installer.

The latest version of the iMods app. In this video, we show installation of two tweaks, all the views in the app, and demonstrate features such as screenshots, video previews, wish lists, and more.

This app is still being worked on so do not look at this as a final completed product, but as a work in progress. We think that it has come a long way since our alpha video we posted back in November!

Don't ask for a ETA, but we are aiming for end of summer :) As you can see in this video, it is mostly done.

If released, iMods would be the first real alternative to Cydia. It's made possible by comex's open-source Substrate alternative called Substitute.

this could be really great but I hope whoever made the video has nothing else to do with the project. repeated incorrect input, meandering illogical choices to demo and leaving the entire respring in the final product?! sheesh.

"The first real alternative to Cydia"??? Really??? This reporter has clearly not been on the scene long enough otherwise they would have remembered the other alternative to Cydia that Cydia bought out - Rock

Yeah, I don't know if this is going to be better than Cydia, I think I'm going to stick with Cydia
