Steve Jobs has unveiled the Worlds Thinnest Notebook calling it the MacBook Air.
MacBook Air goes from 0.76 inches down to 0.16 inches at the thin end.
Features:
- Intel Core 2 Duo (1.6 GHz Standard, 1.8 GHz Option)
- 2GB of RAM Standard
- 13.3" widescreen display
- Magnetic latch
- LED backlit display thats instant-on.
- Built-in iSight camera
- Full-sized keyboard. (Backlit)
- Trackpad which has multi-touch gesture support.
- 80 GB 1.8" HD Standard, 64 GB SSD Optional.
- No Optical Drive but instead Remote Disc Feature. (Can also purchase special USB powered external drive for $99).
- 5 Hours of Battery Life
- 802.11n WiFi
- Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR
- Flip-down door that has USB 2, MicroDVI port, Headphone jack.
- Aluminum case, Mercury-free and arsenic-free glass display
- Circuit boards are BFR free and PVC free+
- Packaging has 56% less volume than the regular MacBook.
