Some Apple Watch Users Report Green Tint Issue Following watchOS 9.5 Update

Some Apple Watch users are reporting a strange green / gray tint on their display following the update to watchOS 9.5.
On reddit, user @Ninolacom says, "Just upgraded to watchOS 9.5 and control center has now this weird and ugly grey background, do you have it as well?"

Numerous others have noticed the same thing...
@AgileCharacter2198 - Yeah me too. Still having this grey background. If you have sleep mode enabled there is no grey background , just transparent like it used to me. What a weird bug
@SamwiseIsGreat Noticed it on the notification pull down. Was still quite dark when I tried and could see it flickering between tinted and proper black.
The tint appears noticeable on the passcode input screen, Control Center, and Notifications. If the change was not intentional, Apple is likely to resolve the issue with the release of its next software update. The company has already released watchOS 9.6 beta to developers for testing with more betas to come.
