Speaker Volume Test: iPhone 16 Pro Max vs iPhone 15 Pro Max [Video]

Check out this video comparing the speaker volume of the new iPhone 16 Pro Max with the iPhone 15 Pro Max.

Our testing showed a slight decrease in overall speaker volume for iPhone 16 Pro Max. This year, the iPhone 16 Pro Max measured at 103.8 dBA, a little lower than last year's iPhone 15 Pro Max, which measured 105.0 dBA. When measured from the side, the iPhone 16 Pro Max registered 90.8 dBA, down from 91.8 dBA for the iPhone 15 Pro Max. Both devices were tested on iOS 18.0.
