Algoriddim has expanded Spotify integration to the mobile versions of its djay app, giving Spotify Premium users the ability to mix millions of tracks directly from an iPhone or iPad. The update follows September's desktop rollout and now brings the same experience to DJs and casual users on the go.

With a Premium account, users can pull in Spotify's full catalog, along with their personal playlists and editorial picks, and load tracks straight onto djay's virtual turntables. From there, they can create beat-matched transitions, apply loops and effects, or connect supported mobile DJ controllers for hands-on control. For those who just want continuous music, djay's AI-powered Automix can handle the transitions automatically using imported Spotify playlists.

"Integrating Spotify across djay's entire mobile and desktop lineup marks an exciting new chapter for our users and anyone aspiring to DJ," said Karim Morsy, CEO of Algoriddim.

The update also adds value for Spotify Premium subscribers, who recently gained access to official music videos in the U.S. and Canada.

Spotify integration is rolling out now in 56 markets worldwide. djay is free to download, with an optional Pro subscription offering advanced features.
