AT&T confirmed that it plans to use the AWS spectrum from its T-Mobile acquisition for its 4G LTE network, according to a BGR report.
AT&T will free up T-Mobiles 1700MHz AWS spectrum by migrating T-Mobile subscribers off the frequency. The carrier then plans to pair its 700MHz spectrum with T-Mobiles newly-cleared AWS to cover 95% of the U.S. population with 4G LTE service. We know how important 4G is to carriers right now, so the move will potentially give AT&T a huge bump in the race against Verizon Wireless, which has already deployed LTE service in several markets.
AT&T and Deutsche Telekom yesterday announced that they have entered into a definitive agreement under which AT&T will acquire T-Mobile USA from Deutsche Telekom in a cash-and-stock transaction currently valued at approximately $39 billion. This would bring the combined user base to 130 million leaving AT&T as the only national GSM carrier in the US if the acquisition is approved by regulators.

It's done I am AT&T share holder and T-Mobile is now part of AT&T and for people who have T-Mobile there plan will not change until august and they will also launch new everything unlimited talking and data and it's cheap and it's on LTE. And I really don't know why people always thing negative of course economy is down for every one and t mobile is giving cheapest rate plan but now things will be more better and I know who ever gonna read this will comment something really stupid so I don't care coz this migration brings lots of job and opportunity and again price for rate plan will be cheaper coz they will launch cut copypaste plan with your own requirement .

These mergers are NEVER final until approved by the government. I'm an AT&T shareholder too but that doesn't give you or me any additional insight into the finality of this or any other merger AT&T is involved in. Unless you are on the merger team or a member of the board of directors, I submit you are overstepping.
