Queste sono le istruzioni per effettuare il jailbreak del tuo iPhone 3G con firmware 3.0 utilizzando RedSn0w per Windows. La versione per Mac di questo tutorial la puoi trovare quì here. La versione 2G invece è quì here

Questo tutorial può essere usato per effettuare il jailbreak prima di fare l'unlock con UltraSn0w. UltraSn0w non è ancora stato rilasciato ma non ci vorrà ancora molto. Quindi, se vuoi effettuare l'unlock immediatamente, dovrai aspettare per fare il jailbreak finchè non verrà rilasciato anche UltraSn0w.

Passo Uno
Crea una cartella sul desktop e rinominala Pwnage

Scarica RedSn0w da quì here o quì here ed estrailo nella cartella Pwnage. Allo stesso modo, scarica l'ultimo firmware 3.0 dal link quì sotto e mettilo nella stessa cartella.

3.0.0 (2G): iPhone1,1_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw
3.0.0 (3G): iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw

Come detto quindi estrai il file zip RedSn0w nella cartella Pwnage.

Passo Due
Collega il tuo iPhone al computer e lancia iTunes.

Seleziona il tuo iPhone dalla lista dei dispositivi sulla sinistra. Ora tieni premuto il tasto "shift" e clicca sul pulsante Ripristina. Il ripristino viene effettuato in modo da non sprecare spazio sul tuo iPhone.

Vai nella cartella Pwnage sul tuo desktop e seleziona il firmware ipsw. Clicca su Apri per continuare.

Passo Tre
Quando iTunes ha finito l'aggiornamento dell'iPhone al firmware selezionato, devi lanciare redsnw0w.exe estratto precedentemente nella cartella Pwnage sul desktop.

Passo Quattro
Una volta aperto RedSn0w clicca sul pulsante Browse.

Passo Cinque
Seleziona il firmware ipsw dalla cartella Pwnage sul desktop e clicca Open

Passo Sei
Dopo che è stato verificato correttamente il firmware clicca sul pulsante Next per continuare.

Passo Sette
Assicurati di aver messo la spunta alla voce Cydia in basso a sinistra e clica su Next.

Passo Otto
Ora collega il tuo iPhone al computer e assicurati che sia SPENTO poi clica ancora Next. Se l'Iphone era scollegato, collegalo preima al PC e poi spegnilo.

Passo Nove
RedSn0w ti guiderà ora passo passo per entrare in DFU mode.

Tieni premuto sia il tasto Home che quello Power per 10 seconds.

Rilascia il tasto Power e continua a tener premuto quello Home finchè RedSn0w rileva il dispositivo.

Passo Dieci
Il tuo iPhone ora si riavvierà.

Passo Undici
RedSn0w inizierà l'uploading del nuovo RAM Disk.

Passo Dodici
Quando tutto verrà completato RedSn0w ti avviserà con una notifica (DONE). Ora puoi cliccare il pulsante Finish.
Quando l'IPhone si sarà riavviato (ci impiegherà all'incirca 5 minuti) risulterà modificato con Cydia nella SpringBoard.

Hi, I have an iphone 3gs , with 3.1 version & 05.11.07 firmware. Already JB+UL using Cydia/blackra1n . So my question is I want to update to 3.1.3 , will this tutorial work for me , as nowhere mentioned 3Gs here ?

I just got an iphone, and i updated it on itunes, now it says that its version 4,, i thni the firmware is 4,, so when I tried to restore this one here, it didnt work, its say it not compatible.. what should I do , please help :(

WHen i download the curent restore it does come in a cube like the picture but zip books and everytime I try to extract it to my desktop or to my pwnage folder I cant get it to open or what ever I need to do please hellppp!!!!

After pressing save as, Change the file type (lowest box in window) to all files from.zip. It will then save as you need it. N.B. Ensure the file name ends .ipsw If not manually type it in before saving.

Hi All, I managed to jailbreak my iphone 3g on 3.0 However, when I try opening cydia, it says "loading data" and then automatically crashes" I have jailbreaked many times but no luck. I used the files in the post above but still not working. I have also tried setting the iphone as a new phone in itunes but not working. any ideas???

Hi When you choose "iPhone1,2_3.0.1_7A400_Restore.ipsw" in redsn0w and you get the error message "Unable to recognize specified IPSW" choose "iPhone1,2_3.0_7A341_Restore.ipsw" instead and it should work. If redsn0w 0.8 crashes in Vista when you try to jailbreak then right click on redsnow 0.8.exe and go to properties and in there go to compatibility there set it to "windows xp service pack 2" and then go down and check the "run as administrator" Run the process again and it should work. It worked it for me Hope this to some help.

i suggest not updating the carrier settings after the jailbreak. I launched itunes and it prompted me to update the carrier settings i did it and I couldn't connect to the network overseas anymore so i have to restore the software with itunes and the backup which took another hour or more.

hy im using iphone bg i hav updated to 3.0 using windows(redsn0w) everything has been done well(AS PER ICLARIFIED STATED) but i cant find network signals and no CARRIER option in SETTING menu. plz help me its d second tym m facing the same problem plz reply Y A N K (9987649785)
