Apple has released the second developer betas of iOS 27 and iPadOS 27 to developers for testing.
The new test builds carry version number 24A5370h and arrive roughly two weeks after Apple pushed out the initial developer betas following WWDC 2026. The update centers on Apple Intelligence and Apple's new Siri AI experience, which brings personal context awareness, onscreen understanding, deeper app integration, and more conversational interactions.
Alongside its AI features, iOS 27 introduces a range of system enhancements. Apple is refining the operating system's visuals with an adjustable transparency slider for Liquid Glass, relocating Visual Intelligence into a dedicated Camera mode, and expanding child safety and Screen Time controls. The update also includes a redesigned CPU scheduler and other under-the-hood optimizations aimed at improving performance and responsiveness throughout the system.
If you're waiting for the public release before installing iOS 27, we've already made the official iOS 27 wallpaper and matching iPadOS 27 wallpaper available for download.
Registered developers can download the new firmware over the air by navigating to the Software Update menu in Settings and ensuring the developer beta option is selected. Apple has said that Siri AI features will not initially be available in the European Union due to ongoing Digital Markets Act compliance concerns.
