Geohot has posted a limera1n update which states that it was 6 months in the making and will be "released today to get chronicdev to do the right thing".

It seems as though Geohot wants his jailbreak to be released rather then the SHAtter exploit because newer iBoots show his hole fixed.

MuscleNerd has said: "If geohot's exploit works on all, & since either exploit is as likely to be "known" by Apple, his makes more sense IMHO"

Some want Geohot's exploit because it works on the iPhone 3GS; however, others believe it should be saved in hopes of it working for the iPhone 5.

Can one of you that downloaded it upload it to rapidshare or mediafire or something then please and post the link to it? Or even just email it to me? Happy to test it out and post the results here. Have a number of devices to test it on. All gen iPhones and an iPad. Cheers!

He updated this page like 30 minutes ago and also had the download link(I downloaded) but after chronicdevteam's post on twitter he removed the link.

wow, i think i logged in to the site as soon as he posted the link, because i downloaded and tested it on my iphone 4 w/ 4.1. It works.
