Rumors that Apple has a seventh generation iPod Touch in development surfaced earlier this month. Subsequently, a reference to a new iPod touch was found in the iOS 12.2 beta. Based on that reference, it appears the device will not have Face ID or Touch ID.

Why would anyone want a device that does no more than their phone already does? Seems pointless.

Without the headphone jack it’s disappointing. Which is why I kept the 6S which is still going strong.

So this iPod is less than two months away and there’s no single leak about the parts or screen protector or even a case, don’t think that this will be the design, it will look like it’s predecessor.
