This sounds like nothing more than a gimmick. It says straight on their website that :"With ClearBoost, you can expect to see improvements that won't necessarily be reflected in the number of bars on your iPhone." That's expected. The problem with boosting the signal is that you are not just boosting the signal, you're boosting the noise as well. Your overall SNR will be relatively unchanged, and SNR is what most important in being able to get a good signal. This might, at best, get you some reception in fringe areas that you wouldn't be able to connect in otherwise, but it's not going to work miracles.
