Apple has released the first developer beta of macOS Tahoe 26.4. The build number for the update is 25E5207k.
This beta cycle begins shortly after the public release of macOS Tahoe 26.3.
While specific features for macOS 26.4 have not yet been detailed, the update is expected to align with the broader platform changes introduced in the iOS 26.4 beta released today. That software was originally targeted to bring significant AI upgrades to Siri, though reports suggest some of those capabilities may have been pushed back due to performance issues. We're installing the update now to see what interface changes or system refinements are included.
Developers can download the macOS restore image from the Apple Developer Center. If a developer profile is already installed, the update is available via System Settings > General > Software Update under the macOS Tahoe Developer Beta option.
