Apple is Working on an iOS 14.8 Update Ahead of iOS 15

Apple is working on an iOS 14.8 update ahead of the major iOS 15 release expected next month. References to iOS 14.8 were spotted in Xcode 13 beta 4 by Brendan Shanks.

If it materializes, this will be the first time Apple has released a .8 update to its mobile operating system. iOS 13 stopped just short at 13.7.

Unlikely previous years, Apple plans to allow users to forgo the upgrade to iOS 15 and will continue to provide security updates for iOS 14. More details here...
