Now that the iOS 4 jailbreak has been released, UltraSn0w will be updated to unlock the iPhone 4 in 48 hours, according to PlanetBeing.
We will be releasing the unlock in 48 hours (after we conduct a private beta).
You can use this tutorial to jailbreak your iPhone 4 in preparation for the unlock.
