Apple's next generation 'iPhone 7' will reportedly be released in retail stores on September 16th, according to Evan Blass, a well known leaker who goes by @evleaks on Twitter.
Previously, Blass revealed that the iPhone 7 would be released during the week of September 12th. The prediction generated some confusion as to whether he was referring to the launch (unveiling) of the device or its retail release.
Today he clarified this, tweeting:
Just to clarify, this refers to the retail release, not the launch event. To be even more specific, it should happen on Friday, Sept. 16th.
Just because of a minor design (which is forgivable next year because reasons) doesn't mean it's going to suck, hell we still have countless leaks coming with many features of what to expect that hasn't been confirmed, yet you choose to skip as of right now? #thiswillbearealupgradeandyouknowitsodontbeafoolyiugotit
Based on what I've seen its not an update grade for me ... Be we will see when it gets announced... At the end of the day u have to me smart with Apple. but u be surprised how many people buy every iPhone that comes out ...
And was we have seen so far isn't everything that the 7 is getting if it's confirmed so far. Whatever you don't like or want I can understand, but I'm still getting the 7 because I do feel like I'm getting some things revamped
